Yep, and here's the version I'm on about - which is either a promo or a mispressing...

Yeah, I recently saw a promo sleeve and there was no face on it.

Actually the childs image was a last minute inclusion. It was originally just going to feature the flying eagles.

There's plenty of decent quality live stuff out there, Frankfurt 1990 being one of the best IMO.

OK...we know this band were not big sellers, but at least they did sell a few here & there. Anyone got info on how the band did in Germany etc?
From memory I recall the debut album stalling at #53 or thereabouts in the UK. "Cowboys & Indians" reached #75 in the gallup chart, "Shove It" reached #82 I believe and "Heaven [For Everyone]" reached #83. The single "Manipulator" never charted, even though I remember it being everywhere in HMV...£2.99 for the 12" [those were the days]. "Power To Love" from their second album reached a mere #95 or thereabouts, the album itself failed to enter the top 100. Which in turn ended their releases in the UK and to concentraite on the European marked via Electrola; Liar, Final Destination, New Dark Ages, Blue Rock and the sadly recalled 'Life Changes' [as Freddie had died/ was dying by then]
Formed mainly on the basis of a live band than a recording act, I'm sure their live tours were a hit in many towns and cities across Europe. Anyone got any pics, stories to tell?
I saw them twice; Newcastle '88 [I'm even heard on the bootleg!] and London 1990 [the fan club xmas party with Brian].

Wiled Wicked Waitress (The Single version) That song rocks Agreed. That version is much better than the album mix.

I don't dislike 'Shove It', it's the fact I overplayed it upon it's release. Nowadays I hardly ever play it. Same can be said about MAD:BAD & Dangerous To Know. Blue Rock on the other hand, I could play that again right now and still enjoy every moment of it.
