I would love to see lots of new stuff. They must have some.

Personally, I liked what they did on Freddie box set a lot - putting many demos or songs-in-the making into it...Apart from unreleased songs, I'd also like to hear the earlier versions of some of the songs we already know, in order to realize how they were put together or how they sounded like at first! I don't know, things like those just thrill me .

If it hasn't come out before now, leave it in the vaults because it probably isn't very good. I'm always wary of unreleased stuff - if you haven't released it, there's probably a reason!
Personally I'd much rather Roger and Brian get together with Paul Rodgers and write a new album, and all three sing on it, just like on the tour. All of them are great songwriters and it would be interesting to see what they could come up with - especially if Spike were involved too!

I thought Funitmom was talking about unreleased stuff at first...so I replied to that...but maybe I was wrong . Well, I must confess I haven't bought anything Q+PR so far because I can't have anyone (if not Roger and Brian, in some cases) singing Freddie's stuff, AT LEAST not songs like "Boh. Rhap." or "WATC"...but if they should team up with Paul again and release something new, I'm ready to appreciate it!

Going into the vault could be risky bur their could be a few surprises. Roger,Brian and P aul should go into the studio and make new music(all write and sing). Roger and Brian were put on this earth to thrill us with their great talent. The show must go on.

I advise you to check out the Queen + PR DVD. Paul does a great job, and he doesn't sing all the lead. Some is Roger, some is Brian, and of course Spike is playing keyboards throughout. It is great to see Roger sing in front of a Queen sized crowd! Paul sings "We Are The Champions" superbly, but the band are smart enough to know only one man can sing Bo Rhap. Freddie sings it all except the fast bit, so there's no need to worry! JG

Roberta I did mean both new and old music. I also hope they come out with the singles box set that was talked about. James I saw Queen + Paul Rogers in concert and loved it. I also loved to see Roger in the big arenas singing. He is such a treat.

Brian has said recently that they have come across a lot of stuff they did with Freddie over the years that had been lost in the volts and that he'd totaly forgoten about. He also said some of that stuff is very good and he hoped to be going into the studio to edit and release this stuff. As he believed that Freddie would want his fans to hear it....? I hope this happen some unheard stuff with Freddie on.. EXELENT (Much prefer this to PR)

With Paul you know you are going to get a good, professional performance, and if they did go into a studio, they could well tour again to air the new songs. Paul has a huge collection of classics under his belt, as do Roger and Brian. To see what they could do together is mouth-watering. Delving into a vault to use old stuff not considered good enough originally, and re-working it is basically what they did with "Made In Heaven", and although I like it, it wasn't a fitting swan song for Queen. Not in the same league as Innuendo, and that's probably because there was only really five new songs. Everything else was a re-hash.
I've heard many Queen tracks that never made albums - from B-sides to unreleased stuff to Fan Club only material. While I love some of these songs like "Dog With A Bone", "Hijack My Heart", I Go Crazy".... look at when the track came from, and try to picture it on the would be parent album, and suddenly the songs seem very ordinary indeed.
I'd much rather have Roger, Brian and Paul write something new and move on, instead of using old Freddie vocals that were probably scrapped for a reason. When a vocalist has passed away, get somebody else or pack it in. Don't try to use the archives to keep things going, because you'll damage the reputation of the band. It's been done with the Beatles, it's been done with Elvis, it's been done with Hendrix.... and nobody cares. It's still the old stuff they listen to.

I would love to see them tour again. I think a lot of people would go out to see them especially young fans. With Paul you would Have a professional sound and they could also include some old Queen songs not included on the last tour like Roger said on one of his tours for perspective. A lot fo us have a lot of old queen stuff[that by the way a love] but I think the guys being older would like to grow with new material It could be exciting for them and us. )

I see what you mean James, about this and about "MIH". It's not another "MIH" I'm wishing for, as a matter of fact - but a Queen box set appeals to me because I love to witness the creative process that makes a song what it is...so I actually like demos...Anyway, if there are some unfinished songs (and we know there are), I'd like to listen to them too...can't help it!
