This is similar to the Rate the song game, just with bands/musicians instead of songs. The Who

I always liked Sabbath better sans Osbourne. Few other bands have hired as many quality vocalists as Sabbath, yet their weakest singer remains the most popular. For influence, and making such phenomenal albums as "Heaven And Hell", "Born Again" and "Live Evil", they deserve a lot of respect. They lose marks for losing credibuility in their last few years, so I give them 8/10.
So, intertwined with Sabbath - Deep Purple.

7/10 - I like one or two of their songs a lot, just a bit too samey for me. Good musicians though!

It really depends on which incarnation of Deep Purple you pick, there's been that many. And they did splinter into some amazing bands, such as Gillan, Whitesnake, Rainbow (and they into Dio), etc etc.
Jimi Hendrix - very good, but a bit overrated. Did some great songs, did some amazing things on guitar, but he couldn't sing and I don't think he'd be worshipped as much as he is if he hadn't of died young. I'd say 7/10.
Van Halen.

Van Halen. Exelent band. Had many changes through the years but always seems to come out with cracking songs. My personal favorite album would have to be 1984. I would give them 9/10 AC/DC

AC/DC - you can't go wrong. Never written a ballad, they just plain rock. Some average albums but ever single one will get your foot tapping at some point, and "Back In Black", "Highway To Hell" and "If You Want Blood" are just rock masterpieces. For those alone, and their awesome legacy, 10/10.

Foreigner:- They seem to get overlooked time after time. Not a bad Pop/Rock band. Had some big hits but not quite made the big time. I would say there biggest hit would be I want to know what love is (A top 10 hit) I would give them 6/10

Foreigner really do rock - people think they only did soppy ballads because those were their biggest hits. But thise aside, they hardly did any ballds. They're a great classic rock band. If you bought their best of you'd be pleasantly suprised.
As for Maiden, I'm going to be controversial. Vastly overrated in my book, and much better with Dianno than thingyinson, who I think is a truly poor vocalist. Not my thing at all and I never got why they made it so big. I'd give them a generous 5/10.
This will spark a frenzy - Queen!

10/10!! That was the first one I haven't had to think about. The best frontman of all time, an amazing guitarist, talented bass player.. and need I say anything about the drummer! I just love nearly every one of their songs, and they have to be some of the nicest people in the music business too. Eric Clapton

ERic Clapton is an undisputed king of his instrument, but his work output is a mixed bag. Some great stuff with Cream, Derek and The Domino's, to the relative flop of Blind Faith and some lacklustre solo stuff. Still, his influence is without question. As a musician, I'd give him 10/10, but as an artist, from my point of view I'd only rate him about 5/10.

I've seen Bon Jovi live about three times. They were good live especially in the 80's. I liked their older alblums mostly so I will give them a 8/10 right now.

I agree with that - Bon Jovi made four brilliant albums in a row, (SLippery When Wet to These Days) but their later stuff isn't so great. I'm more a Richie Sambora fan than a Bon Jovi fan as a whole. Bad Company... well, I'm a little controversial here, because I like the Paul Rodgers line up the least. I know to most people he IS Bad Co, but I thought the albums they did with Brian Howe singing were stronger (even though it didn't sound like Bad Company). And the albums they made with Robert Hart were brilliant, but they often get criticised because Hart sounds a bit like Rodgers! Still, some superb material, and they have contributed one undeniable rock classic, so 9/10. Brian May. JG
