Ok, here's an idea for a new game I'll start off by posting a song, then someone else has to rate it and say WHY they gave it that rating, before posting another song for someone else to rate. Here goes.. Rough Justice

It's not one of my huge faves, though I kinda like it . I can't really say why! It's a good mix of rock and pop (more rock)...some interesting ideas in the arrangement...but as for Roger, I like him more on other Cross songs. Let's rate it 7/10. I love this..."Final destination"!!!

I love it! Great lyrics, amazing singing and I love the way the rhythm changes in the middle I think I would have to give it 9/10. Okay... Hand Of Fools

Totally agree with you on FD - the "crescendo" is amazing! and Roger wrote some very unusual verses for it. HOF is one of very very faves - love the lyrics, the athmosphere...sad but beautiful!...and Roger's singing - especially all the variations during the final part! It's a 9.5/10...just because I melt on "Baby it's alright" more than on that! Now, "Man on fire" - live of course!

That's definitely one of my favourite live songs by the band.. I love it's energy and the drumming! I think I will give it 8.5/10 because it's not my absolute favourite live song.. but is still a great song. Now, one of my favourites from Mad, Bad and Dangerous: Liar

Great lyrics, great sound. A genuine choice for a single IMHO, shame it has a crap semi-live video though. 8/10
Let's try.... LIFE CHANGES

"Life Changes" is a great song, and a great closer to a superb album. The only thing that spoils it for me is the slightly off vocal on "How does it feel" which sounds a little too shrill for my liking, and Roger strains a touch on "...this endless night." But those tiny criticicms aside, great. 9/10.
How about "Stand Up For Love"?

I love that song! I think I might actually prefer the Live in Montreux version to the original studio version, although Roger's voice sounds great on the studio one and I love the 'Clap your hands' bit at the beginning. I think I'll give it 9/10.
OK.. Top of The World Ma

Not the best one from The Cross. It does have a catchy rhythm though. I would give it a 7/10

Nothing like the Cross, but a great song (except when Clayton sang it live, because he sucked at it). A good song, but more like a Roger collboration than The Cross. 7/10.
One for you harcore guys - "Heartland"!

Old Men Lay Down is a great song for it shows Rogers political side, has a good beat and he sings it in the way to show off the words. You have to listen to carefully and you may see what I mean.

I love it!!! A touching song and the lyrics are great - plus I love the way Rog sings/utters it, from that "f**ked - again" on...(mmmh, the board's gonna censor me for quoting this LOL). It's a hint of the Roger-to-come, for the social-oriented theme and the musical feel. Though it's a long number, you can't get tired of it! 9.5/10 (just because I have this "Baby it's alright" obsession and I'd have to give that a 10/10 ). What about "Love lies bleeding"? (Edit: and BTW the board did censor me! LOL).

I thiunk Love Lies Bleeding is great. The rockiest thing from Shove It, and pretty much the only Shove It track tat didn't get dropped live. Great guitar solo, humourous lyrics from Roger, and live it gave Peter Noone chance to really cut loose with his bass. I'd give it an 8.5/10.
"Passion For Trash".
